I don't like earnings plays, especially in this environment, but some of you do.

ZS reports after the close and they destroyed estimates last qtr and sent them into the stratosphere.

Also, for you gambling addicts, looking at you Irish , BIGC reports after the close. I expect them to beat but this will either make your week or destroy it because it's volatile as hell and will move considerably.

I would say that the ES volume in pre-market has me concerned about the strength of this gap; however, the AUD-JPY candle has almost receovered 70% of what was lost yesterday and that was a BIG drop. That's something I like to see.

Bought TSLA 9/11 $334 for $20 yesterday afternoon. Sold this morning at the open $29.15. May leave money on the table, but 30%+ in less than a day isn't the worst.

Fairly common macro setup it appears here. Had a Rule of 3 days big selloff. Now look destined for a 50% retrace + 8 day EMA backtest to get more direction (SPY ~345, QQQ ~286, AMZN ~3325, etc..)

How it handles that retrace level will be telling... either slapped down for a bottom retest (break that to fully confirm longer term trendline break) or go sideways for a few days to digest the move to see what's next (similar to much of June, for SPY anyways).

My 'analysis' is very simple though... curious what you guys more data / indicator focused are seeing.
If this post is on the B&I forum, lighten up it's just money!

Is anyone aware of data around when retailers typically trade. IE are 90% of their purchases from 8:30-9:30 and then 2-3pm (cst). I almost wonder if it is even more heavily weighted to the morning because people can do research at night and then buy at certain points.

The reason for the question is that TSLA sees big buy volumes in the morning past 2 days and has then ran out of steam and slowly traded off on much lower volumes.

Time of day may become even more of a thing now school is starting back up and more people are headed to back to work (as opposed to WFH).
