Its almost as if price is being driven higher while the market is closed is closed this month, then positions unloaded into the hands of intraday long traders...

i bought it early in the bear flag. I knew it would roll over. Just felt like a sell day. Watched the price erode and then when I was back to the green sold it for 12% instead of a letting it ride to the double. Oh well.

Looking at IV, it looks like DFS, ETFC, and AXP are 1, 2, and 3, then INTC is 4th.

Someone call me out here if I'm off, but I'll try to check these numbers later when people start showing implied moves....

Assumption (I'm using 85% of the ATM Straddle as the implied move)
1) DFS implied move $1.45 (trading around $52 now)
2) ETFC implied move $2.34 (trading around $52.50 now)
3) AXP implied move $2.90 (trading at 96.60)
4) INTC implied move $2.36 (trading at 61.38)

Once I like these later again, I'll see about selling some IC's using those as the safety barrier. I'm conservative so I'll likely bump up my numbers at the expense of premium sold.

Yeah I have all of my NET and TTOO covered, and a few other stocks partially covered. However, priced for some room to appreciate before August 21, so only a slight damper on the bloodletting. Glad I wasn't entirely in the market, not cause I didn't want to be but because I didn't want to buy in at the prices we were seeing on a lot of the tech names (although didn't have the balls to sell the tech I am holding, didn't want even more realized gains this year).

Oh well, at least I wasn't in any long calls.

Not making fun. It's a high probability play. When PC 10 day MA is this low, 80% chance of a correction within 90 days.

I got about .29-.33 on the dollar on both trades.

Been trying to fill on ETFC for 2 hours, won't fill.

i'm having a hard time getting filled. may go wider on spreads or may try iron fly.
