Start a fund. <$100mm is fairly unregulated and if your performance is anywhere near what it's portrayed you can charge 2/35. You can get a LLC + LP, and PPM for minimal cost, and 3rd party accounting while you're small for <$2k/mo.

Trading services are run by ppl that can't perform, at least not sustainably.

But zero risk to start a trading service to test the waters. Capital investment of zero to grow a base is silly to pass up. Not to mention trading services are hot right now. Winners are bound to emerge. Too early to make judgement on an entire sector of the industry that's so young.

These have been around since before the internet, it's not a new industry. None survive with a big following for long. Similar to hedge funds in that regard. Just seem more prevalent now because of the massive influx of retail traders that came with $0 fee trading and the pandemic.

I agree it's a less risky business approach to harvesting performance fees. Much lower ceiling though.

You said it though. The previous market didn't have the amount of retail investors there are today. I would argue it's an entirely new product based the potential consumer not existing 15 years ago.

I do agree it's a lower ceiling but why not stay there and grow your cash flow before investing tons into the business

OA - I don't have the full options authorization needed to follow all of your trading suggestions, but I've used your suggestions for long/covered call plays this month that turned my account around. Thank you

AGsmith, I don't have options on my account either. Which trades did you go with? I will go back and study OA1's posts and see how I could apply what he's preaching.

Whoop! Once you realize the strategies available with options you see ways to avoid taking a loss. I think a straight sell for a loss is the worst move most of the time.

3300 or ATH seems like a major stretch, especially with P/E multiples.

But with 8trillion+ behind the move, I'm not going to say it's not possible. Who honestly thought we'd be back over 3000 by now? Sure as hell not myself.

NBRV offering AH, rug pull! one to watch Monday... nice volume on the 2.50 calls for 6/19, currently trading at .90, maybe lower for a bit Monday.

If SPY hits 320-330 next week, my 6/19 $315c will look like real winners.

These protest and riots are getting pretty intense all over the country. I'm fairly new to playing the market so I am curious have these type events ever moved the markets much?

I don't think we hit 320 that quick, but I bet the 315's make some good money

To keep this market relevant, I don't think it'll impact Wall Street in anyway.

Otherwise, you sound like a good human.

quick edit, obviously I don't agree with the violent pieces of protest, but that's not the majority. Also, if it were your daughter/son/friend under that guys knee, I'm not sure I would blame any man for his reaction after watching that video.

Security sticks will rise. Gun stocks will ha e a blip. But construction and manufacturing will actually end up leading after any pullbacks. Lot of rebuilding to be done.

Given the statement was in response to a question about how the riots would impact the market, it is reasonable to assume that my statement applied to the markets.

However, if you want to bring this outside the markets, like your shot at me implies, I am not going to condone violence across the nation for an arrest that has already occurred. This is opportunistic looting as of yesterday, and don't give me any of that murder 1 bull**** - charging murder 1 would result in any impartial jury finding the cop innocent. Maybe they can get murder 2.

Yes I wouldn't blame the family for being extremely upset, but for the average American going around destroying private property of others who had no bearing on the situation is absurd and merely an excuse to loot and riot like a heathen.

Apologies. Seen too many people commenting with astounding low empathy for the non violent protestors, and the brevity of the statement left room for me to assume. We all know what that does.

Will be interesting to see where TSLA opens on Monday. I scalped a TSLA 900C just before close yesterday, but didn't feel like holding over the weekend.
