Nice! exactly what I'm looking for...need to pop my options cherry (where's George, he'd appreciate that one)
I've been kicked in the nuts today much like everyone else (except for our mentor). I'm doing a little bottom fishing today. Loaded up on TLRA. SEDG is down 11% today so I picked up some. Slowly adding to my TPL position which has consistently made me money. They should announce very good earnings later this week with oil up through the end of last quarter.BREwmaster said:

Hop in EWZ?
Just curious for educational purposes... would you consider the way it closed to be a sell off? If so, does the high volume offset your macro concerns?oldarmy1 said:
EWZ Feb 21 $47's
Watch macro market and towards end of day if no sell off then in it we go.
what about LVS? weeklies got destroyed today, they report earnings after close wedIrishTxAggie said:Absolutely! They're huge on the superstition and they'll be thinking they're lucky as all hell if they dodged the Coronavirus.Ragoo said:Chinese will be itching to gambleIrishTxAggie said:
Once the media sensationalism wears off on the Coronavirus, I'm loading up on WYNN.
if you bought the call you bought it to move up in price. EWZ historically doesn't move quickly, meaning you can lose money in time decay. EWZ is a favorite of option spread traders because they can put on positions out 45 days and win over the long haul because of that decay.BREwmaster said:
right, sorry if I used the wrong terminology, I'm not holding it, looking to sell it when it runs up.
heads up to all in here, a huge buy came in on $SPY puts at close - 581k worth at 320, but also a 210k bet on 330c (maybe as their hedge).
