You have to make sure you're approved for options.

Pro tip when opening a trading account:

Always check "speculative" and "experienced trader/investor" when opening an ap. It always helps to inflate your income as well. This protects the firm from any repercussions should you lose your ass. They will approve you for aggressive buying/selling of options and stocks.
