For stock traders, might look at TVIX and UVXY ETFs. They are volatility ETFs that move up when stocks move aggressively down. Don't do anything long term with these, just stick to short term/day trade.

Nope. Options are way too high. Only use they serve is the hedges I placed. Shares I entered yesterday on the dip I sold $45 covered called. Deep in the money and still would earn $1.63/share over share entry price yesterday if called out. Otherwise $4 off holding, should we fall below $45.E said:

Why do we pound in the gaps? Take a look. Every gap along this bull leg after initial breakout (where most energy and momentum PREVENTS a gap fill) has been filled. Computers run this show and the precision is actually a faulty program, that can be traded - for now.
We now have a gap created to the upside for later play.
The $55 ZS calls at $1.15 would be my call trade if I weren't locked and loaded.
