Ok was not expecting bitcoin to run all the way to the 200 day. Hit its head pretty hard there, but damn. Maybe this is finally the breakout. Need it to hold today and then confirm with a close tomorrow around 66,500, but even more preferably > 67K. Then it's on like donkey kong.

Yes, but a refresh screen got me back without issue.

It finally started behaving but it's been having issues the last day with kicking me out a hundred times to log back in. If they don't get it together soon they'll have me looking to dip my toe in other waters.

I bought a couple of BROS 1/15/27 $35 calls. It's down rather low, around $50, and has a history of moving up fall/winter. My idea is to shoot for selling one to completely de-risk and exercise the other at expiration since I expect it to climb through February. I have a small total sandbox as I navigate everything trying to learn. After the purchase, and other holdings, I'm still 30% cash.
I have no idea if this was a dumb move or not.

What price did you get the calls for?

It's in a high risk / high reward spot here in my opinion. It has bounced off this near exact spot 6 times in the past year and a half. But if it doesn't hold here the stock price could easily fall to the 30s very fast.

Based on what I see, it looks like it could make a run to the mid to high 50s if today was the start of a bounce. At that point I would consider de-risking some.

Also - if I were buying calls here, and this is just me personally, I would have gone for out of the money calls or at least at the money to increase my reward for a bounce. I usually don't buy as deep in the money as you did, because for me that's too much risk for too little reward - at that level I would rather own the stock so I'm not hostage to the expiration date.

I'd be careful doing that. It was carrying a 15% short float when this news hit.

I see that, but it traded 4x the short volume today and 32x normal volume. I will take my chances assuming the shorts who can't afford to stay in are already all called out of their positions and that today was the major squeeze event.

But I will give it 30 minutes into the open before I make a decision.

shorting MRNY with ATM naked calls is my play...with an expense ratio of 1%, distribution rate of 90%, and the underlying nearly tapped out, MRNY short is a no-brainer for me

If bitcoin and ethereum hold their current levels through tomorrow evening then my answer to this question will be yes. Bitcoin will have confirmed a neckline break of an inverse head and shoulders in my book, and on high volume. 67K is the level I am watching it to hold, but could be as low as about $500 under that. Staying right here at 69K or going up even more would be even better.

Any thoughts on water rights? TPL? LB? PCYO?

Not liking VRNS action the last couple days. If it doesn't snap back by the end of day I will probably trim back looking to re-enter closer to that $36 level HA had mentioned in a previous post.

IONQ - Likely re-entering soon if $37 range can hold. Playing for $90 range.

Expect is a weird word. Possible is a better word. I can't call this move up clearly impulsive, and that's because the subwaves tend toward overlap and messiness. So trying to just keep it simple. We have an area that was once major support that led to a ramp, then became resistance with 5 head bangs once the stock sold below it. It finally took that level out in June, and now that level is a perfect 50% retrace of my wave [iii]. So I'm using it as support. Move under that level and things could get dicey, though a flash under and reclaim would be possible.

Elliott Wave is a tool. It provides an outline on possible paths while being great at identifying support and resistance. Couple it with other reliable strategies and it becomes stronger in its use.
