Yep, I like it's chances in this market even. Bitcoin almost to 12k, china/ U.S. could be helping fuel that higher. Earnings I don't think will matter much.

I'm long in OSTK and cannabis (CURLF), the wife cashed out a fund sitting in her 401k. I think we'll sit on it until the market really corrects!

I am of the opinion that Bitcoin is a safe haven for the Chinese to defend against their currency. As trade wars ratcheted up and their currency started to fall, Bitcoin has gone through the roof. My biggest regret was calling this when Bitcoin was $5k and not getting in... Damn

RIG reported earnings last week, they are getting rid of some debt and making people pay that are in arrears. Cash flow is improving. Oil hasn't taken the severe hit with today's China news. RIG and other O&G stocks are at a good entry for longterm holds. JMO

$8 a contract for the $98 strike that expires on Friday. They also have earnings on Thursday that I'm not worried about. I don't have the free cash either but that looks like a free $800 per contract.

Does this happen automatically?
Yes. If you get called out, the contract will be enforced automatically and you will buy the shares. The biggest 'issue' with naked puts is that it ties up the capital required for the execution until the contract is executed, you buy it back, or it expires.

Yes, you'd automatically buy the shares on Friday afternoon if it closes below $98 and your cost basis would be $98 - however much you sold the put for...so down around $90 in this case

One other thing to note is I like selling a naked put for a stock I want/don't mind going long on as it helps to hedge a bit in case the stock goes down short term
