OA1, do you still follow your rule to sell half when doubled on calls farther out? Specifically the JD 9/20 $30 calls.

Atleast RIG is slowly crawling back with oil prices... CHK just hangs out. All I want is $2.50 CHK, just $2.50
I just thought there was way too much excitement first thing in the morning from the G20 news. We still don't have a deal anywhere near in place and Huawei stockpiled the **** out of their chips because they saw this stuff coming from Trump. By no means am I bearish on MU long term. This was strictly a weekly play
I'm not bearish on MU long term but barring any major news the market should gravitate lower. With Iran's announcement this morning, it won't take much to scare the markets about a potential US strike. Saudi Extending oil cuts should support O&G stocks though.

I'm actually surprised and kind of pissed about action in O&G space. Everything was getting killed by perceived lack of demand with China. Now that's back on track + escalating tensions with Iran + extended OPEC price cuts - I thought everything would be soaring. Doesn't seem to be the case.
I believe this US said they've surpassed 12 Million barrels of oil per day production. That is probably putting a damper on the optimism. Plus, if anyone sold those stocks for loss they can't buy it back for 31 days or they lose the tax write off.

I think the main thing is that they don't know which o&g companies are full of **** and which are legit at these price points and land positions. Realistically we're still early in the game after all the bloodletting and 'free cash flow' mantra. Things will sort themselves out.Prognightmare said:

I'm kind of sitting back and watching for now. I think if the fed doesn't make a rate cut in July (markets are moving upwards currently anticipating one), we may see a correction.

Markets with the slow bleed all day long after pop opening. See if we get a bear trap move back up. If we do TWTR and others will take off. Also it would be a trend breakout confirmation and we would see smaller daily squeeze upward.
Nice cup and handle intraday on JD. I took my covered call off the table
If the JD $31 weekly puts come back down under .25, I'll buy them again. Made a nice 100% with those eariler.
