Seems counterintuitive to me. Shouldn't people be saying their business model is failing, which is why they need to ask for more money? I understand debt and capital can be positive at times, but as much as everyone says TSLA will be bankrupt within 2 years, I wouldn't think this would be one of those situtations.

Tesla is a cult stock. The threat of bankruptcy or insolvency is now reduced and the "growth story" can continue on.

Note, Tesla stock has typically always popped after announcing a capital infusion. Despite Musk claiming that they would never need another capital raise (and that was three(?) capital raises ago?)

As posted several pages back, events like this are why I haven't tried to short them. It's always something to prop it up, and trying to time it right just never seems to be worth the gamble.

Hahah don't get me wrong, I am fairly ticked at myself for not selling at 200%+ return and instead only for 15% return. But this stock was well on it's way past 177.5 to 180 and nothing's changed much, so we will see!

I hear you. I sold enough to get my money back when high yesterday, bought more at closing and sold this morning for a 57% gain. If I had sold all when I sold initially, it would have been 308%. Hopefully I learn not to be greedy.
