I would disagree that there are tons of rumors about a settlement coming soon. From all I can gather, there is no good intel on timing of this. If you are finding some rumors, please share. There has been no update on the court case for weeks.


All I know is that ZEST is an interesting one (which I'm in on and happy to let ride).

I'd also point out that ZEST actually did see a big bump.

In a month it's gone from $0.85/share to $2.80 - and that's after a pullback following a rush of buyers last week looking for a quick settlement which may not be coming.

If someone bought in at the peak of $4.00, the current price feels terrible. But if you've been holding it awhile (and took some profit especially) then it's been a great little stock.

I also don't get the feel from posters that anyone is overhyping or pumping the stock.

I actually appreciate how open the conversation has been on the different interpretations folks have of what's going on but with a clear message that this is a bit of a "bet" based on a lawsuit settlement. Treat it as such and you'll be okay. First rule of gambling is don't bet anything you aren't willing to lose.

Here's hoping things settle soon but if not, at least watching this stock has helped replace the missing live sports watching in my life. LOL.


For sure. I'm in for 1000 shares as a gamble. For the hopeful payoff but maybe in even more for the wild day this thread will be when/if a settlement is reached. I don't want to miss the party if there is one

Most of this thread makes absolutely no sense to me. I wish I spoke trading better.

I am feeling good though since I got in March 20th and have watched my balance go up over 50%.

Ok guys, need some thoughts on RUBI. I sold a 6/19 7.5 put a couple weeks ago for $2.34 and pocketed the premium. If it expires ITM, my basis would be $5.16 I believe. I can buy the put back for $0.30 right now.

With RUBI pushing up over $8, what is the best strategy here?

If you need the buying power, buy it back.

If you don't, then you can let it go and see what happens over the next few days. I still have mine sitting out there. I'm not concerned with assignment in the 7's if it happens.

Bought AAL and immedialy sold August $20 ITM covered calls getting better than 20% back on the stock price. Puts were too expensive and can't sell naked calls in this account.

Compared stock closing price (red, right axis) vs TSA change in traffic from 2019 to 2020 (blue, left axis) and the relationship is totally bonkers to me. Maybe that blue line goes parabolic and surprises me but at current trajectory it's a looooong road to recovery.

Here's my take on V... it's been boiling for awhile, and it is just now exploding. Don't get out too fast and ruin the moment. I think it tops today somewhere in the 201 - 205 range. Going for a 198.50 back test here. That should be telling for the rest of the day.
