FB options up nice
I sold my GILD puts for 50% profit. Reading Riley report that it is helping in the inflammation phase made me think that 50% is good.
Weekly options are much more tricky on exit strategy than going out several weeks. You get a pop and you have to take some off the table, especially if you can get net free and still have a decent boat. You always have to go through the initial churn profit taking and bull/bear fighting after a bigger move opening either direction. But the temptation risk/reward for a full reversal breakout yielding 200%, 300%, etc ROI on large caps is big.
I have a hard time setting targets for options out that far. I picked up a couple at 1.90 yesterday. Do you have an exit range you are eyeing? I imagine the news that came last night was the driver for the volume over last two days, but just not sure what to target, outside of a double between now and then.
Thanks. I saw this a bit late and the $281C was at $.37 so I grabbed that one instead for the same price. Sold most of my $278C at open to go net free on it.

Bertter..yeah I just like taking the cheapest I can find that is just below recent move highs. Once this first hour is over and clearer direction takes hold if you see a press upward the odds swing heavily to ROI on those cheap tickets. Still - follow the sell 50% when doubled should it get there. Obviously we have hours not days.Touchless said:

Got into the UNG 5/15 $15c after some cheddar action yesterday. It just made a big move up.

Intraday view of SPY. We have lift off into the run premarket. Then a top for profit taking. We've had 4 waves lower lows and as I was preparing this that 4th wave upside hit above the previous two wave tops. Odds are we push upward off that look but need to see if that 5th wave occurs and, if so, the lows are higher or lower than last one. Might not get a 5th wave but 4-5 is normal on a pop opening before ultimate direction is formed.
