I'm thinking the same, sure was hoping things would pick back up this afternoon to finish where it started this morning.

Thoughts on holding anything over the weekend?

I have 4 $285 SPY calls expiring 4/24 that were purchased yesterday. Currently sitting at about 60% return.

Should I sell all and restart on Monday? Sell 2 of the 4 and carry 2 over the weekend and see what happens?

Is this a key point in helping determine momentum? If trading activity is declining it may be good to exit out. If activity picks up, get in with momentum?

It means that this upward movement over the last ten days was basically by a bunch of Davey Day Traders and that the guys with all the money are still waiting to make their move. Waiting for the indicator of the bull run up from here, or the confirmation indicator of the bull trap down from here.

I made exactly zero trades this week. No buys and no sells. It was one of my best single weeks ever. I just held my 5 big longs (ROKU, AMZN, JD, NIO, SQ).

There's a lesson in there somewhere.

Big regret I have was not establishing a substantial position in AMD when it went under 40. Had targeted that for months if not years and thought I could get a better deal around 30. Yet another lesson there somewhere. That was planned to be major position #6 long hold.
