The green drawn line is the cup that formed. Most are rounded but you get a "W" many times due to retesting of lows intraday. The "W" is self-explanatory. Note just to the left of the yellow box there was another "W" pattern that failed taking us to the next one that held and became a pivot point. Once the right side of that pattern is broken upward you can expect further upward gains.

Something else about stocks. The market makers don't care much about anything intraday. If they are going to shake or retest resolve on a stock then they will, regardless of market action. Look at RUBI. Clear technical reversal confirmed from yesterday lead it early to $5.50 area but then it traded all the way back down to $5.04 and now back close to days highs.
They just don't care and once you get that mindset it gives you the confidence to buy that testing. I bought a huge load of shares and just kept on buying but I also then sell the initial pop so when I saw topping early in markets I unloaded some shares. Then I stepped in and bought almost all of the same numbers back again as it came under $5.10.

USB has a good chart for a breakout but when? I am going to move out on a $40 Call to mid May with premiums only in the $0.70's

Youn guys also know that strategy of buying out of the money calls as a potential pivot point. I bought DIS April 17 $115 calls just in case it happens. $0.42 against dollars of gains per call option is a no brainer.
