Amarin shares are trading lower after the company announced the FDA did not approve the abbreviated new drug applications for the company's VASCEPA capsule.

What Happened
The United States District Court for the District of Nevada in Las Vegas ruled that six patents on Vascepa, which were all set to expire in 2030, are invalid, as earlier reported by Bloomberg.
This means that generic drug companies like Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. (NYSE: RDY) and Hikma Pharmaceuticals plc (OTC: HKMPY) can create generic versions of the drug used to lower triglycerides levels.

i've been watching more closely lately and have traditionally chalked up technical trading as a distant second to fundamentals and more of an art of explaining what already happened in hindsight. What I'm learning is that it is somehow a mathematical model of market emotion and there is some utility in it. It's been interesting to watch the market stick at the SPX ~2630 line for a bit.

It's a self fulfilling prophecy. People make moves around the Fibonacci levels so move happens around the Fibonacci levels.
I've said multiple times how important ES 2630 is.
It was crucial 200 WMA support on the way down and it is 38.2 fib resistance on the way up. Whichever way it breaks, its going to move violently.

I just don't see us moving violently up in the near future unless there is a catalyst from a news standpoint. I see April and probably May to be about the same as where we are now (unknown as to when this all will end).
So we broke 2640 twice today. What is considered breaking 2630? Is that closing above it, or a certain % above it?

The chart is trending well right now. It's testing that level and setting higher lows on the pullbacks. We shall see.
We've broken 2640 on the SPX. I track ES (futures) which is purer because of overnight trading.
