Reading the tea leaves everywhere that we are going to witness a historic run up on oil prices if we don't have a deal with Iran done in the coming days. We may be already too late with some of the supply/demand estimates I'm reading. Somehow China is only importing a fraction of crude since the start of the war keeping prices artificially capped.

How can the Strait of Hormuz be closed down for 3 months, it's summer travel season, both sides at war in the Middle East bombed various aspects of each others' oil and gas infrastructure, and crude oil is at $73/bbl.???
Definitely doesn't seem as if that makes sense.
Thoughts???
