quote:Thats crazy being that MLP's generally are low risk and shallow decline with a modest CAPEX program. If they are in a bind after cutting distributions, the independents with active drilling programs are hemorrhaging.
MLP's are the next group to feel the pain LINN started the bloodletting.
quote:That's alot of wells. Seems very high to me. I would imagine we could verify that by looking up recent wells that have been spudded with no 1st production date.
Fraclog is swelling and as oil approaches the 65 dollar mark wells will start to be completed again adding back to the supply glut. Eagle ford and Permian will have a lot of completion activity. There's probably over 2000 wells in these areas waiting to produce. Oil will likely flatten out for a while once we hit that milestone or even slide a bit.
quote:Should this be "upstream MLP's" or are you throwing all of them in the same boat?

quote:
There was a great diagram going around yesterday at the conference that had the number of drilled but not completed wells in each major field. The number of non-completions in the Permain and Eagleford are astronomical.
quote:I assume he's talking upstream. Midstreams are sitting nice and fat right now.quote:Should this be "upstream MLP's" or are you throwing all of them in the same boat?
