The spotfire tools I've used in my career were always built in house tools. It's basically just a nice central data center that's easy to instantly plot custom graphs and manipulate data from sequel data tables. It really lends itself to customization for your project, but I still find it a bit clunky.

Never used tableau

I use Tableau to break down our sales and financial data. I love it. I find it very intuitive and if I don't know how to do something there's tons of forums where your question has already been answered. I've used it for around three years and now my company is pushing Power BI to the whole company and it's not nearly as good.

Speaking of, anybody in Midland interested in getting lunch or beers. I literally know nobody here (except my co-workers I guess). I just started on Monday.

Cant do lunch today. In Midland til tomorrow, but out here often. Definitely up for some beverages some time.

Seriously, just a few weeks ago, maybe 3, the EIA said demand would stay flat or fall off a bit. Today you guessed it, demand expected to grow by 1.4 million a day this year and in 2019 and top 100 million per day in late Q4. One fund manager said that prices would be $150 in less than 2 years. Good grief...

We used Peloton in a former life and it was brutal. Currently we are just creating them in excel.

Peloton Software isn't an AFE software solution. Better off using Pandell AFE or AFE Navigator.

question for board. What value would you place on a boe/d when trying to estimate the revenues of a private company?
For instance a company reportes 10k boe/d of production. What value would you assign to that on a daily basis and annual basis? Just looking for a rough ballpark
