Stay in TX and get ****ed - we don't want you nor do we need you - the personal anecdotes of why you think we do don't matter - we don't.
I can't wait for them to pass the travel restrictions that are working their way through the legislature.

You're assuming he graduated. His posts suggest otherwisefarmer95 said:So wait...didn't you make the choice to attend college and graduate from a school in this state?JustPanda said:

We don't depend on Texans. Typical TX dying to feel important when they aren't. That's why your stage is the butt of most others jokes. Your states a clown show. Watch the news.
With that said, Wear a mask or stay the **** home - It's the law
Agree with this. Don't get the specific callout of Texans from some of the hippie Colorados. Everyone I've interacted with has been super pleasant and accommodating when up there. Most are transplants anyway.RachAg2007 said:
Um..as a Texan who has lived in a CO ski town for the past 8 years, I definitely do not agree with this sentiment.
Regarding masks, I've seen compliance with most visitors with a few bad apples from all states, not just Texas. Quite frankly, I'm a little over the anti-Texas sentiment from Coloradans, especially when a lot of issues come from people on the Front Range.
Let the people come (and spend their money). Most people will follow local laws and ordinances once they are aware of them.
From the state of Colorado's own website re: TourismQuote:
we don't want most of TX here, we don't need TX here to make a great living, and the last thing we will let happen is TX vacations endanger our families

Just an FYI - if all of TX keeps coming up here not wearing masks and preaching about their constitutional rights - TX will be placed on a travel restriction - the grumbling are almost at a roar level and we all see what's happening - if you come from a state that's Corona central and think we're cool being putting us in harms way - you're a fool - I'll be real - we don't want most of TX here, we don't need TX here to make a great living, and the last thing we will let happen is TX vacations endanger our families over politics - it's all about being respectful to the people that call CO home - it's not about your vacation - it's about our lives.
When counties and municipalities are having to pass emergency mandatory face coverings (which is happening), the next step is an outright travel restriction.. Eagle County is not far from making that a reality if things don't change dramatically.
If every local wears a mask inside and out - follow their lead - don't make it about you. Be the person that steps up and respectfully changes our opinion. I know the 12th man - don't make us look like a bunch of tu Suppository Sallies or Bank of Mom and Dad SMU grads.
It's really simple - if can't or don't want to wear a mask - stay home or go camping by yourself. All you're doing is making it more likely you won't be welcomed back until this **** passes for good.
Here is the problem. It's not mandated in my town, but people wear it because it's the smart/right thing to do. Why do you need government telling you that wearing a mask is what you should do? It's common sense at this point.yukmonkey said:
This is correct. I am going to CO in August and fully plan the mask deal wherever it's mandated, as well as being as nice as possible to everyone in Colorado. Love the state.
But the attitude of the OP is atrocious.

Another note: GTFO of the left lane of you aren't actively passing someone. It's not a camping lane.
Since the science is so obvious, why is LA county exploding with cases? They have been wearing masks for a long time.Quote:
I was in Houston end of May, and I saw very few people with masks. Bars were full, restaurants were full, gas stations were full.. no one with a mask. It's no wonder now a month later they are having a full blown explosion of cases. How more obvious can the cause/effect be?
