I got one that I can share with you... I'll edit this post to add once I get the link from my player 2.DonaldFDraper said:
Does any one have a referral link for the Chase Sapphire Preferred?
I'm looking to apply in the next week or so to get the 80k sign up bonus.

Is a Hilton branded American Express a good deal with 100k points and no annual fee? Never really played the credit card game before. Don't have an AE. Have excellent credit. Deal is good till 11.30.20. No travel now but anticipate multiple big trips from June onwards.
$450 with $300 credit and a free night is hefty? that is basically $0.Ag CPA said:
I already have one, but the current AMEX Bonvoy Brilliant offer is pretty good:

Up to 125K points, Platinum status for a year, $300 annual credit, free night a year... hefty fee though.
I'm noticing the 'fine' print on these offersBulldog73 said:
I have seen the best bet is typically at least a month. Would there be another level that would interest you more?

I know this thread is more about points, but heads up on Hyatt status since it requires getting the world of Hyatt card
I applied and was denied. Called and got approved. They initially denied by my balances were too high. Stupid reason since I've got years of history showing the cards are all paid off in full each month.

just because you pay off in full every month doesn't mean you might not be hurting your credit by having high balance to limit ratio.LGAggie said:

Keep your oldest accounts, for account history which is good for credit.third coast.. said:
Whats the thoughts on closing past credit cards? We dont churn, but have a number of cards that we simply do not use anymore and IMO it would just be less to keep up with and worry about to close them out. I think that would be probably 3 that we could get away from.

For bonuses, the chase ink cards are hard to beat, as long as you can meet the spend.
For ongoing points, you just have to look at the reward categories on each card. Match the card with where you spend heaviest.
Any bonus you take restarts the clock. I did the same thing about two years ago, it was an 80k bonus offer to switch to boundless card.LGAggie said:
Here's a weird question for bonvoy cards.
You can't have received a sign up bonus in 24 months on any bonvoy card and be eligible for another. Like, if you got the visa boundless card 22 months ago, you're not eligible for the Amex bonvoy welcome bonus.
I had the old Marriott Visa and product transferred into the boundless card about a year ago. They kept offering incentives and I finally took them up on it. I think it was a free night or maybe ~50k points.
Anyone have any idea if I'd be eligible for the Amex?
