Ahlstrom did not look good. I did not see the game yesterday, but his stat line looked pretty shaky yesterday as well.

I know, it's crazy......but I am starting to feel cautiously optimistic about this lineup. The emergence of guys like Peterson, Duran, Foscue, Osuna and Lopez has been impactful. Jung and Burger have returned to form this season. Gotta believe Seager will get going eventually, and it goes without saying that we need Wyatt healthy.

To me, this suddenly looks like a pretty good lineup:

Pederson/Foscue DH
Langford CF
Seager SS
Jung 3B
Nimmo RF
Burger 1B
Duran 2B
Higgy/Diaz C
Osuna/Carter LF

Lopez has been a nice surprise. He can obviously plug in at 2B and Duran can play SS or OF. Got to keep Duran in the lineup somewhere.

Osuna can't throw. I wish Duran could nail down an OF spot. His arm is just so valuable.

Careful. I floated that a few weeks ago and were vehemently disagreed with.

I really think his value is in the outfield, especially with the Cannon of an arm. Think Adolis.

Duran can't play center and you aren't benching Nimmo or Langford for Duran. When folks are healthy, Duran won't be in the outfield - at least not in a full time capacity

I think it'll be Carter. He homered in a rehab game for Frisco Friday. But when he returns, I think we need to limit his ab's against LHP, so a platoon situation mostly.
