This. I don't expect Tucker, Bregman, or Framber to stick around no matter what else happens, so I'm all for it. Put an evolving core around Yordan, keep Tuve, and maintain a staff that can hand the ball to this back end after 5-6 and we're gucci.

I think we keep at least 1 of those 3. Not sure which one but we'll keep at least 1. Hopefully 2.

You can see it in his eyes. He's hurt. He knows the Yankee's daddy ain't going no where.

Soto, Seager, Carter, Henderson, Belli (is he signs AL) all just got a terrible match up if we run into them postseason. And if we get the Dodgers or Braves in the WS you can add Ohtani, Freeman, Olson, Outman, & Harris to the list. It takes away it being used against Alvarez & Tucker.

Note - Pressly was a little down last year.

Hader are an argument for best strike out artist of all time. His career K% is over 42%.

Easily the best squad of this era of Astros baseball IMO. I was far more disappointed in not winning WS in '18 (or at least making a better showing in the ALCS) & '19 than the '21 & '23 seasons.

Candidates: Brandon Bielak (out of options), Forrest Whitley, Dylan Coleman, Bennet Sousa, Ronel Blanco, Declan Cronin, Seth Martinez,
Shawn Dubin, Parker Mushinski, Matt Gage

I would guess 3 out Bielak, Whitley, Sousa, and Coleman.

I still think it would be worthwhile to look at flipping Urquidy for RP help make the roster numbers work. You could still use Bielak or Blanco as a sixth starter until McCullers and Garcia return.
