I've been a fan of this team for so many years and this year means more than any other to me. I lost my dad and baseball mentor a few years ago and I wish he was here to see this. He had dementia in his last years and didn't remember much but I'll never forget all he did to cultivate my love for this game. The only thing I wanted of his his and that I have is the Warren Spahn autographed baseball because that was his favorite player as a kid. I never amounted to anything as a player but it's the greatest game ever.

I am a San Francisco Giants fan, but congratulations to the Texas Rangers for defeating the defending World Series and AL west champion Houston Astros 4-3 by winning all 4 games in Houston. The Astros took the AL West on the last day of the regular season 22 days ago, but the Rangers got the last laugh. As a result, the Rangers improved to 8-0 on the road in the playoffs.
It's crazy how the road team won all 7 games. It's even crazier that this is the 2nd time in 5 years that a road team wins all 7 playoff games of a playoff series, and the Houston Astros were on the wrong end both times. Before the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros 4-3 in the 2019 World Series by winning all 4 games in Houston, there had never been a playoff series in which the road team won all 7 games in any major American sport.

That 3-0 sweep was without Harper. Schwarber has been crushing it and that team rakes.
DBacks are good too. They are built to run and manufacture runs and they have some really good pitchers. Their starters are likely better than outs just in numbers alone but our bullpen, the weakness all year, has come around so who knows.
We'll take all comers at this point. Philly or Phoenix- Lets Go and Take It!!

Lifelong Rangers fan since the mid 80's and this has been the most fun I've ever had watching baseball. I loved the 2010 and 2011 teams, but this one just feels different. This team feels more connected and they've fought through a LOT this year. Amazing to do this all without deGrom. Bring on the Phillies, I think that would be an incredibly fun World Series!
Damn. Dusty Baker is an awesome dude and a true baseball treasure. I wish he could've won his World Series with the Nats and not that garbage organization. If this is it, stay hard Dusty!
