There's no way MLB is removing the suspension entirely. That would make them look bad...like it was a hasty decision.
My guess is it gets reduced to 1 game. So he's missing either game 7 or game 1 of the World Series. Sucks that they had to insert themselves into the situation but that's par for the course for Manfred.

A fair settlement would be trading off Abreu's suspension for taking away the home field advantage from the Astros for this series and playing another game in Arlington (that and suspending Dusty and Garcia)
He hasn't cruised 6 innings against the Rangers … one game he gave up a few runs so I guess there is a chance Framber does well today.. I'm. not holding my breath.. pen better be ready

In 2017 they didn't think we could win it all.
One thing I just thought about, and I'm sure some of you have as well, is if Abreu appeals, and then they decide to uphold it in, say, 30 hours...he'd miss 2 potential WS games.
Of course, if he doesn't appeal and we win today, he'll miss WS game 1.

I'd think a realistic goal of the appeal is to get it down to one game altho maybe I'm wrong. How can anyone ever really know if he was intentionally throwing at Garcia or not? They can't.

They'll probably wear Frambers blues today and if there is a game 7 (hopefully not), they'll wear the orange. CJ usually seems to pitch better in the orange jersey.
