A note to all the lurkers who are about to come out of the woodwork.

This isn't the zoo and it's not a football game thread.

There are going to be rally tits. All the mods will allow. If you get offended, find another thread. If you are in church or at dinner with the Mr. or Mrs. then set your system to not auto load pics and don't click on them.

If you are a Rangers fan go to your own board. Trolling will get you banned and banned fast. Likewise Astros fans stay the hell off theirs. You will get just as long and just as fast a ban. If you are a fan of another team and troll, well there are Darwin Awards for a reason.

And now, a hypothesis that I've been working on in my head for about a week.

The Texas Rangers are the personification of Ken from the Barbie movie.

Evidence
1. Nobody cares about Ken on his own, only as part of Barbie and Ken. No one cares about the Rangers unless they are playing the Astros.








2. Ken wears garish outfits and thinks it's cool. So do the Rangers.






3. Ken learns about the patriarchy and doesn't consider any other form of support necessary to rule the world. The Rangers learned about free agency and didn't consider that you need a bullpen to win the World Series.






4. Ken wants to stay over at Barbie's house but has no idea why he wants to. The Rangers want to play the Astros in the LCS, but have no idea why.





5. The lyrics to "I'm Just Ken" literally describe the Rangers' season and their existence since 2017. And I quote, "Doesn't seem to matter what I do, I'm always number two."






And the Mariners are Allen. Not attractive. Not really threatening. Just there.

Abreu is the reason we have been winning the last few weeks. I dont have a problem with where he's at if he's hitting balls hard.

Tucker needs to turn it around. He's in a terrible funk right now. Splitting the lefties isn't the worst decision in the world.

Could Abreu regress? Anything is possible but the way he hit those absolute piss missiles tells me he's 100%. There's no way he hits those types of home runs if he's all arms and his back is aching.

Tucker hit that shot early in the series that would have been a double but the 3rd baseman made a nice snag. He's in a funk for sure but that easily could have been an RBI double. I think he'll be just fine.
