Idk... Jimbo rode Jameis to a NC. Dusty rode a loaded team and a historic bullpen to to a WS. Both have been mediocre outside of that.

Rangers hung on to beat the A's 3-2 which I think is a good thing. We want them to still be breathing for the games they have left with Seattle.

Best thing for us IMO… obviously we win at a good pace, but also Rangers go 4-3 in that 7 game seattle stretch

That way they won't gain any games on us, but Seattle should fall behind

Accept Dusty actually hasn't been mediocre outside of that. He's made every team he coaches better, and is in the top 4 in + wins as a manager in the modern era.

Dusty will reside in the Hall of Fame, Jimbo, not so much.
