Not saying I agree or disagree. But what he did in the past doesn't matter. It's what you expect moving forward. He's probably due some regression. He's out a ridiculous 94+% LOB%.

How many of those Lobsters are stranding inherited runners? I know he's created and got out of some jams but the team should probably at least make him a reasonable offer.

He's 34...will turn 35 next season...not sure what kind of multi-year deal might be out there for him...but, if it's there, I agree he should grab that guaranteed $$$

Usually, it's not until the playoffs that I start gripping at every out in a game, but this pennant race has got me in that mode in early September and it is way too stressful already.

It feels like we are getting close to where we were last year with the back end of the bullpen being really solid...now, if we can somehow get a starter through 6, we should be in good shape come October
