Had to look at the Mariners' schedule to see how it could be easier than ours, and am still not sure of those rankings. Their September is pretty stout with the games against us and Rangers as well as a series against the Reds and Dodgers. They do have 7 left with Royals, but we have 6. Unusual for us to be doing this level of scoreboard watching at this point in the season. Seems for the last few years, we have been trying to figure out which game/series we will clinch the division. Will make for an interesting final 43 games!Proudag06 said:
Ok 14 series left (avg 3 games each, one 4 game and one 2 game). Sitting at 68 and wins.
Tex has the 14th toughest schedule (3 vs Hou, 7 vs Sea)
Hou has the 24th toughest schedule (3 @ Tex, 6 vs Sea)
Sea has the 27th toughest (13 vs Hou/Tex).
Where does everyone finish.
Hou 95 wins (2 seed, Bal #1 has 25th hardest remaining schedule)
Tex 93 wins (WC 1, TB is WC 2 with 7th hardest remaining schedule)
Sea 89 wins (misses WC by a game to TOR)
Oh, that 2 game series you have is actually a 3 game...last weekend and ending on October 1Proudag06 said:

Those are some Nolan Ryan numbers except to pitch 8+ innings and give up 1 run or less (with 12+ strikeouts)...man poor Nolan had some tough luck with those awful hitting 80's Stros.EastCoastAgNc said:tjack16 said:

But in all seriousness, I did tell them one day they'd look back and be able to say they saw Ohtani hit a bomb in person. The sound of him hitting that was unreal, even up in 413. Just a pure barrel sound.

Did y'all hear rumors are swirling about an inappropriate relationship for Wander Franco. Obviously no clue to the truth and I believe in innocent until proven guilty…I just wonder what the distraction might cause for them.
Tampa Bay shortstop Wander Franco did not travel on the team plane to San Francisco, where the Rays will start a series with the Giants tomorrow, sources tell ESPN. The Rays earlier said MLB is doing “due diligence” concerning social media posts from earlier today about Franco.

it's hard to say if the Astros are going to catch the Rangers or not
the Rangers are 40-20 at home...and begin a 6-game homestand on Monday vs. the Angels and then the Brewers
the Rangers are 47-28 when Corey Seager is in the lineup. He is healthy again
so the 'stros probably won't make a big move in the standings this week while playing the Marlins and Mariners
