This lineup was a concession...we all knew it and it proved it.

As much as Silseth smiled seeing this weak ass lineup I guarantee you our players knew it too. That plays into it. They start to press. Silseth can be careful knowing he has easy ****ing outs at the bottom of the lineup and that's when you get the snowball effect and scratch one lousy run on a pass ball.

It's amazing as much as "real baseball" folks know you don't **** with a streak you certainly don't **** with a lineup that just produced 22 runs. But hey, that's just fan stuff.

The Rangers, in spite of injuries, have a manager who has a ****ing clue. Dusty is lost in the sauce and needs to focus on shilling **** **** wines.

It's always been rough but I feel like it's gotten unbearable lately. We've been so spoiled as a fan base. It's not always going to be easy. Just keep taking care of business and things will work out. If the Rangers keep doing what they're doing, just tip your cap.

Is losing today frustrating? Absolutely. But it's baseball. It's a grind. I'll gladly take winning the series and let's look ahead to taking care of a good Miami club.

I agree some of the "just fire him" posts are getting old. I at least try to provide supporting arguments on why I think he's doing a very poor job managing the team.

I'm trying to keep the emotion out of it. It's one of the main reasons you rarely see me post during the game.

playing in the wildcard round has not been a part of the formula for the Astros' postseason success

Normally, I would whine about lineups along with most of you. Today, though, we had 7 hits and 2 were from Dubon and Kessinger. When 3 of your top 4 hitters combine 1-12, you will struggle to win.

Diaz should have caught today, though.

Yep. It is a beating. Trying to convince folks that playing .667 ball down the stretch is great is futile.
