Teams have been hitting Rodriguez's 4 seam.
I'm for hype trains! I don't want it derailed, just maybe a little slower. Let that bad boy build up some steam before we send it to the moon.Danwell Home said:Stop trying to derail the hype trainBeat40 said:Singleton hasn't proven a damn thing to be part of a perfect lineup.stoneca said:
Singleton at DH and Diaz at C and that's a perfect lineup

Dusty Baker said he hasn’t checked on Ryan Pressly’s availability for tonight but “I think he’s good.” Baker said Pressly “didn’t feel right” Sunday but it was not arm-related.

Didn't this happen to Altuve as well? A little tummy trouble maybe?EastCoastAgNc said:Dusty Baker said he hasn’t checked on Ryan Pressly’s availability for tonight but “I think he’s good.” Baker said Pressly “didn’t feel right” Sunday but it was not arm-related.

I leave to go out of town for a week and apparently I came back and opened the door to the past. I swear this convo was going on the day I left. LOLBregxit said:Mr.Bond said:texasaggie2015 said:
That's not going to happen. They tried and it wasn't going to work.
I guess I sit here and ask how hard did they try? He's a professional athlete. Should be doable with work. Plenty of major leaguers have made position changes
Yordan doesn't seem flexible enough for first base. I could be wrong though. He just seems a bit lumbering.

Is the game on TBS tonight? WTH, guess I'm going out since Fubo doesn't stream that channel.

It's showing on ATTSN for me

I think it's on tbs but it's subject to add to blackout restrictions. If you're in Houston you won't get it.

TBS doesn't do the blackouts for local broadcasts. That's just ESPN. ATTSN has been on air in previous TBS broadcasts

What if I told you there was another way to get Yainer's bat in the line up besides DH'ingAg_07 said:
But man that's a lot of ground to cover.
But on the other hand it gets Yanier's bat in the lineup so worth the risk.

So is the game blacked out or no?
In the past it made the team a bunch of money but with more a la carte streaming options becoming the norm, times are a changin'. The below article gives a good history of how we got here.JDUB08AG said:
Blackouts continue to be the dumbest thing in sports media. Is there any quantifiable data that shows it has any other impact besides pissing fans off?

RSN revenue has been a staple of pro teams' finances since the early 1980s, when Home Sports Entertainment in 1983 launched as one of the first networks devoted to sports. HSE eventually became Fox Sports Southwest and carried Astros games and, with a few exceptions, Rockets games until CSN Houston launched in the fall of 2012.
Those financial underpinnings that helped pave the way to $200 million team payrolls, however, are about to give way to high costs and declining revenues for the television networks.
