He's actually .212 against lefties with 3 of his 8 bombs

He might be a player's manager in some respects but there are many things I think would be maddening about being on a DB managed team. Framber admitted to having lost a bit of focus after the no-no, which very non-coincidently occurred on the day the team made a serious move to be a contender again.

Between lineup construction and picking favorites and non-meritous promotion and just a general lack of urgency, frankly it doesn't seem too far a stretch that some of the players were a bit apathetic. It'd be challenging not to if they don't think they're being put in the best position to succeed. I don't think they quit or anything but the fire just wasn't quite a bright.

Anyone, rant over. Beat the ever lovin' hell outta the Damn Yankees.

My comment was more in regards that the last time Dusty said this we didn't even face a lefty

Not gonna lie… this broadcast looks beautiful with the sunshine

I'll always love Pena for his postseason last year, and I'm sure he will be really good for us

But he's not good this year, and likely won't "turn it around" consistently at this point in 2023. Just put him in the 7 or 8 spot and let him work his way out of the slump. Then try him at the 2 spot to start next year if you want
