I think Doug Rader was the Astro's best third baseman ever, 5 gold gloves.

And he had that Red Rooster in the dome's upper deck, two seats over from the Toy Cannon.

I loved watching Cammy play, but Bregman is a better player than ASTROS Cammy was. Padres Cammy was MVP caliber for obvious reasons, but Cammy was not a consistent bat in Houston, and the dWAR metrics favor Bregman as well.

Catlike reflexes and a cannon. That charging in play didn't happen much on the dome carpet. But the ball did come at you fast.

No, I was at Game 6 vs the Mets in 1986 and watched Smith blow yet another save against them. Smith never had the gas on his fastball.

That's fair. His play here was good. I just hate the personality and person he has become after his career. I'll go back and edit mine to just playing career only.
