Oh yeah, it could for sure be something as simple as that. It could also just be exactly what Dusty said- he's a little sore and they want to make sure everything is fine.

The secretiveness of it all is what makes me nervous. But again, I haven't really heard anything at all so I have no idea.

20 days for non-pitchers (30 for pitchers). He started his assignment on April 23, so today is/would be day 20. So strange.

Brantley's last game for Sugar Land was 5/6 in Albuquerque. They played again 5/7, had an off day, and headed home for the next week. Maybe they wanted Brantley to take a shorter flight to LA and be with the team trainers instead of returning to Houston/SL for a few more and then to Chicago? Just spitballing here.

I'm on team vague. He plays before Lance. Since I don't expect Lance to pitch before the ASB that gives me a lot of room to play with.

Wasn't it just like a week ago that they announced Altuve was taking ground balls but wasn't swinging a bat yet? Might be getting our injured players confused though. Whatever - great news and hope he makes it back ASAP. Would be crazy if he makes it back before Uncle Mike.

He was taking batting practice with the ML club and hitting it out of the park a week ago.
