What do you think they should call it?Mathguy64 said:
I love how they still call it "low grade forearm strain"
I guess I had assumed he had vetted the celebration with the team / management and they were going to market it...whoopsFarmer1906 said:

This does not sound like something that should take months to heal, but I'm - obviously - not a doctor.Farmer1906 said:
Here is how Lance described it:
"Strained forearm muscle, very low grade. They hesitate to even call it a strain,"
"My UCL is good, just a small muscle strain"
he did. the Baystars team/social media was actively promoting him doing the sword celebration and turning it into a coordinated fan celebration before he ever even pitched a game for them.gougler08 said:I guess I had assumed he had vetted the celebration with the team / management and they were going to market it...whoopsFarmer1906 said:

I shared a tweet showing him doing that a week or two ago and someone responded with "That's why he's over there, they love that stuff." I didn't believe that was the case because the Japanese take sportsmanship pretty serious.Farmer1906 said:

So if the team ok'd it, what's the problem with the teammate?AustinCountyAg said:he did. the Baystars team/social media was actively promoting him doing the sword celebration and turning it into a coordinated fan celebration before he ever even pitched a game for them.gougler08 said:I guess I had assumed he had vetted the celebration with the team / management and they were going to market it...whoopsFarmer1906 said:

Yep. Not to mention that fielding that far to your left actually puts you in a worse position to throw the runner out as well. Fielding is not just about the current action but also how it transitions smoothly to the next action.redline248 said:
Oh, random thought: I just watched the highlights from yesterday. Someone made a comment about how they aren't a fan of how infielders are taught to field ground balls after Bregman's ole. I can't imagine anyone teaches kids to field like that.
