Hunters making good pitches for the most part. The Braves are just that good. Not a hole in their lineup.

They are better than we are right now. As evidenced by the records.

Their stars aren't slumping and their lineup doesn't end at 5, which sure helps a lot. But also, this inning was aided by a third strike not called on Acuña.

With how good the Braves lineup is (especially in the first inning), it felt like the horrendous ABs from Abreu and Peña were going to hurt us big time. Already in a massive hole

Did not have good placement. Two fastballs for sure were grooved. They hit a pitch off the dirt, too.

And they hit everything.

Book is out on Dubon. Throw him inside and you'll get weak flyballs and double play chances. His hits have mostly been opposite field. Watch that average tank.

Pretty much. This lineup without Altuve, Brantley, and McCormick and with Abreu at 4 just isn't good (and tbf, how many teams would be?). The Braves show the difference. Hope we can tread water long enough.

Even though it's early, the difference between being down 2 and 3 feels huge considering how good the Braves are. Dubons double play really hurt
