JV to the Mets. Calling it now. Uncle Stevie pulls out the checkbook.

Wow, was anyone else gonna give him that?
Is someone going to look at that and say JV is worth more per year.

5 years is very long for a 34 year old with significant recent injury history.Cynic said:
That's a good pickup for the Rangers. Pretty crazy that he got less per year than what JV wants. 5 years isn't crazy long either.
The Padres have had two in-person meetings with Trea Turner, sources tell me and @Ken_Rosenthal. San Diego appears to have legitimate interest in signing the star shortstop. https://t.co/cr5ndYmYug

Would put him in LF I would think. Neither Turner nor Tatis is an amazing fielder, but Turner is definitely better than Tatis.OKCAg2002 said:
Wait. Are they going to potentially stick Tatis, Jr. in the outfield or are they somehow moving on without him? How would they get out of his massive contract?

IIRC Tatis is an awful SS

Good stuff. I think Billy Wagner should have been a hall of famer a while ago.

That's almost 200. Attendance matters. For that kind of money, he needs to be able to throw at least 160 a year. I don't think we will see that from him.
For that cash, if want a real workhorse. Framber did it this year. LMJ has done it.
It's not my money. I think it is a bad investment for the Rangers with the length of the contract. 2 years for 80 I could see.
Over the past two season, the Rangers have added
