If we are looking at cheap short term options at 2B I wonder if there is any interest in Keston Hiura who is going to be traded or DFA'd. He could have a two month tryout alongside Helsley. Second base fielding was not superb which prompted his move to first so could add some flexibility there.

High pedigree guy with some pop that had a supposed breakout in 2019 (.303/.368/.570) before we realized 2019 was a breakout year for everyone. Last year was (.226/.316/.449). I wouldn't want to block giving Helsley a try but he is not an every day player yet anyway. Would need the organization to think they could fix Hiura when no one else has been able to.
