Scherzer's tweet implies no counter offer was made regarding the international draft.

My two worst fears are becoming a reality.

1) I'll have nothing to watch but the NBA starting the night after the NCAA Title game.

2) Cancelled games means a delay to the start of the 2022 Joey Gallo thread.

I just don't understand why they can't let the players use the facilities and have access to the team trainers during this time. The owners have to know how stupid that is. Especially for the players they are investing millions in that are recovering from injuries (McCullers, Sydergaard, DeGrom, Trout, Acuna, etc)

Don't be. Several teams (like maybe NY) were out of the Correa market with the old tax. Now, they're in it. I still don't see us giving Correa the mega-deal he wants, regardless of tax. I think we're pretty much done unless we find value or enter the trade market.
