Papi came in top-5 five years in a row. Of course he was averaging .300, 40 doubles, 40 HR, 130 RBIs, but Yordan could do that.

I agree. He's capable.

the Astros are 16-10 when Yordan starts.
2-6 when he doesn't.
I would start Yordan every game.
seems like a smart thing to do

I think a big part of that was their manager knows more about how to attack our personnel than just about anyone in the world

Record wise, there is an incredible amount of parity right now. No one has separated themselves a month and half into the season. Thinking the cream will start to rise here soon.

Your opinion or is there something to back it up?(seriously asking)
Obviously Ks suck, but just putting it in play usually isn't enough either.
No other regular-season stat has quite so much predictive power.

The team that scored more runs in the regular season wins 55% of their playoff series.
More homers? They win 51%.
Better ERA? Just a 50.7% success rate.
So, yeah, strikeouts DO matter.https://t.co/uvSSLmU7vA

That is really interesting. Basically, once you cull the heard it's the difference-maker because everyone at that point checks the boxes at being pretty good. Because plenty of teams missed the playoffs with low strike-out rates.YNWA_AG said:Farmer1906 said:Is it really?YNWA_AG said:Farmer1906 said:

Raley has no options, so if he's out, he's out for good. Emmanuel will likely be the guy who goes down, if for no other reason than to stretch him out as a spot starter. Plus, he's not available for the post-season with his PED suspension bleeding into this year, so you'd rather find other bullpen arms to rely on if possible.ttha_aggie_09 said:

Didn't realize his suspension causes him to not be available in the post season. Still doesn't change my mind on Raley and Smith. Neither are worth keeping on this roster once we get healthy. Odo and Parades are back this month likely and Framber sometime in June. 3 big decisions are coming up pretty quicklyEastCoastAgNc said:Raley has no options, so if he's out, he's out for good.
