If Martinez is dumb enough to pitch Corbin out of the pen again forcing them to have a BP game than maybe we do have a shot at this.
Now maybe GM 4 gets bumped and that allows Schrezer to go on full rest then they may pitch Corbin in relief but I can't see any way they pitch Corbin in relief the way things are set up now.

Even if Corbin starts 4, he won't go deep in my opinion. We can go all righty's (plus Brantley) and force them to change early, and I know he only threw 20 pitches on Tuesday, but that is still 20 pitches in a stressful inning.
No rainout favors us in my opinion. Win game 3 and force them to start making short sided decisions with long term impacts in game 4

I'm sure it's been talked about in the 1000s of World Series posts, but it just dawned on me that the Astros and Nationals share a spring training facility. Meeting up in the World Series has be good for spring ticket sales.

They beat Cole on full rest, if we go down 3-0 the only thing starting Cole on game 4 would do is drive down his asking price

I think the bullpen day going well (minus Osuna again) against New York should give him confidence to do that again
I hope they go Corbin in Game 4 after we win Game 3. Our lineup will feast.

If you had told me two months ago that Cole and JV were going to give up 9 earned runs in two games I would not of believed you. Let's hope they both get another shot.

I said one good thing about Reddick during the ALDS and he ended up getting a hit or a walk, so maybe I need to change my approach
Nothing but positive vibes to Reddick prior to his AB from here on out, but I can't guarantee I won't ***** after his AB....
and truth be told Reddick as a clubhouse guy and personality is one of my favorite Stros players...he went Super Saiyan with his outfit after clinching the ALCS, just wish his bat would also be Goku...

You obviously didn't watch the Nats play at all. Definitely didn't coast. Have been playing elimination type games to get in the playoff, almost lost the play in game and were tied to Dodgers on the road in an elimination game in the 10th inning. I'm not sure I've ever read such a terrible description.
