Just out of curiosity why is everyone saying he's a jerk? He lashed out and for what reason we don't know. Hasn't the on reporter in question been after everyone since the Osuna trade? What if the question was along the lines of "Osuna is a wife beater and almost cost you todays game and chance at the World Series? Are you still glad he's here?" Im not saying what he did was right, but what led up to it? Did he have an issue already with other women?

There was no "question." That was the part he made up. The reporters were watching the post-game locker room celebration, he saw the reporter and just said what he said, six times.

It was boorish behavior, fueled by adrenaline and maybe alcohol. Then he lied to his employer about it, which resulted in the Astros putting out a statement they were subsequently forced to recant.

I suppose there is an argument that the reporter overreacted, but if he comes clean up front maybe he still has a job.

Not sure if this was brought up but Hinch was asked about playing Yordan in the field. He says he is still debating it for tomorrow but is leaning towards leaving him on the bench. He did say he doesn't see Yordan being on the bench all 3 games.

If GM 4 is rained out and pushed back that would get Cole on normal rest and we would avoid the BP game correct?

The bullpen game would get pushed back to later in the series. You'd have games 4,5,6,7 in sequential days with only 3 starters.

I forgot just how cavernous the Astrodome was. Holy cow!

The first baseball game I ever attended was there. Terry Puhl homered to right field and the scoreboard went berzerk. I hope to never forget that memory.

I don't have any Farmer facts to support this view, but I really don't want to avoid the bullpen game. Seems like the one good time to expose the Nats pitching and force Martinez to make a desperate decision that ripples into a Game 6 or 7 clinching win.

It's not a BP game for them.

They're throwing Corbin in GM 4. They don't need a BP game because they have 4 starters. We don't.
