THIS SERIES IS OVER. Nats will take at least 2 of 3 at home. Amazing how our bats went fn cold. Pressure? Playing tight? Who knows. But this b*tch is over.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. We've had plenty of poor contact with runners on that were routine outs. We've also had plenty of strikeouts, which accomplish nothing.

We can still win this series, but our offense needs to wake the **** up and make the little plays. This offense has been so bad in the playoffs it's ridiculous. And it's not a lack of base runners. Just blowing it. Sucks because realistically this is probably the peak of our window - if not the end of it... Unless we start shelling out real money.

Let's get 'em twice at least in DC

I'm waving the white flag for tonight.

Still feel good about winning 2 of 3 in Washington. Greinke is due and has been good against them and we got Cole in Game 5.

Get it back to Houston for Verlander in 6 and an all out brawl in Game 7.

I'm the eternal optimist though

Bregman doesn't look like an MVP or anything close to it. Cole didn't look like a Cy Young pitcher yesterday or in his start before that. And Alvarez is the furthest thing away from ROY.

yep, for the folks that were too young to watch baseball back in the 90's...

this is how those Smoltz-Glavine-Maddux teams lost in the postseason almost every year...despite having all-time great starting pitching

I just hope the window doesn't start closing after this season. I trust this front office to take care of the holes that have shown up this post season or any that open up by whoever might move in free agency.
