My 6-year old's favorite player is Correa. She likes him because that what jersey she ended up with during the Dick's $10 deal. She always looks for him when we take her to games. She was pretty happy this morning when "her guy" won it.
Alvarez is in pure pull mode. When he came up and the half season in the minors he was an opposite field hitter. The mammoth HR's to RF have turned him into a dead pull hitter. He needs to go back to taking balls away to LF.exp said:Lost is a good word. Ugh.agcat said:
Man, I hope Alvarez can pull it together. He seems lost up there. Hope it isn't a case of pitchers now having a sure fire strategy of getting him out.
Where's the fire? Where's the aggression? I think he's thinking way too much. I would move him down.
Saw 2 yankee guys get booted out of the 113 area.ttha_aggie_09 said:
Did anyone else see the two drunk yankee fans get thrown out and one arrested near 133? Lol
Both were hammered and one was just walking up and down the aisle with his arms up flexing every time he had to go to the bathroom or he would just stand up and do it after every astros out. He complied with security but his buddy did not. No idea what they said or did but his buddy wouldn't leave the seat and he had a nice little police escort to the top. Dudes were hammered.
Didn't see those, but did see this happen to two Yankees fans in 113. They were down close to the dugout. I couldn't tell what they were saying, but the security guard down there kept yelling and pointing at them. Finally he had enough, and called another guard down to help him escort them out.ttha_aggie_09 said:

I definitely think JV would be out there if we somehow lost games 3 & 4. But if we win the next two, I'd have to think Hinch would want to save both JV and GC for home. I just couldn't see the Yankees beating both at MMP to clinch. Plus, I think that ZG would feel a bit less pressure in game 5 if he knew we were up 3-1.Ag_07 said:
Some of you sound so certain when talking about the pitching rotation but to me it all depends on how the series shakes out.
If we happen to win the next 2 and GM 5 rolls around with a chance to end it in NY I'd bet quite a bit that JV is out there for GM 5.
Hell if we lose the next 2 and are faced with a win or go home GM 5 then I dam well hope JV is out there. Yankee Stadium or not I want him on the bump in that situation.
Just all depends on how things shake out and to speak with any certainty is a bit premature.
I buy neutral team Jerseys without player names since they all come and go like the wind.PhatMack19 said:
I went to buy my kid a new jersey the other day. The only ones left in his size were Altuve & Correa. He asked for Correa and I told him no. When he asked why, I said because he gets hurt getting massages and probably won't be on the team after next year. We got the Altuve jersey.
When I woke him up this morning and showed him the video from last night, the first thing he said was, "You should have let me get the Correa jersey." My 6 yr old got me this morning....

I decided to see what the dorks over on the Yankees subreddit were saying, and it's glorious. They all want Correa and Bregman ear holed in game 3 and some even had the nerve to say Astros fans were bandwagoners (Yankees fans calling out another fan base on bandwagon fans...seriously??). I hope Cole gives those smug *******s something else to cry about tomorrow night.

I just want to say that watching playoff baseball is the most stressful sports experience I know of.
Anyone disagree?

WTF is going to pay 1k for SRO?
sure that's not for the whole series? 4 games x $400?Texaggie7nine said:
So my mom signed up for season tickets next year and has access to get tickets for WS.
All I can say is the prices are stupid insane. We got tickets to the WS in 2017 down in field box section for a little over $400 each from the Astros.
For this year they want 4X that. W T living F?
Hoping the ticket sales guy sent her the wrong prices.

False alarm, That was for all 4 games combined. He forgot to mention that.

There's no doubt. Never felt this kind of stress during the Rockets' runs.

You can't run the bases with class and dignity when you're seething with pompous assery...so their statements are invalidCromagnum said:
It's an echo chamber over there. They thought Judge ran his bases with class and dignity while Correa was a pompous ass about it. Lmao
