I think this short turn-around mid-season eurotrip that MLB is sending boston and the Yankees on is going to cause a lot of fatigue (could lead to more injuries) and impact their quality of play when they get back.

I get the international games in latin america because of the interest there. I get the international games in Japan because of baseball interest there, and doing them at the start of the season to allow them to get back and recover before starting the real season is the way to do it. There's virtually no baseball interest in London. It just seems like they're trying to replicate what the NFL did, except there's really not a lot of ROI there. On top of that, doing this mid-season is just stupid. Glad the Astros didn't get roped into crossing an ocean.

Flights to London from NY and BOS are closer than going to LA. They get off days built with it to.

As long as it's just to help with medical costs which I'm sure are astronomical, I'll allow it, but if they go for something above and beyond forget it. Also just because you lawyer up doesn't mean you intend to sue. Wiggling through your rights in such a tragic case can be tough for a layman.

I called it when they traded for EE. They either knew something wasn't right or just expected him to hit the IL.

I can't understand why Valdez has barely thrown any curveballs? Threw only FB to the first 6 hitters. He threw at least 6 straight fastballs to Josh Bell. I don't care who the pitcher is, your going to get hit if you throw just a 93 mph FB.

How Hinch hasn't had someone warming up until now is a pretty big failure
