I hope Luhnow goes out and gets a top end starter. This having 3 guys who can't get past the 5th inning is frustrating as fck.

Bregman Did what he did in his 1st full season.

Sanchez has played multiple seasons as an average at best power hitter who was an easy out in the playoffs. Now he has 25 HR's and 52 RBI's in June.

The comparison you made is awful.

Don't have a boner about giving guys credit for runs scored, just for White not doing anything in the area of scoring runs or bringing runs in with his bat. Kemp has probably tripled or even quadrupled white in runs scored and RBIs this season and they hit in similar spots in the lineup

Edit: after checking numbers the triple or quadruple estimate is off. It's 35 to 24 in favor of Kemp in 32 fewer plate appearances

Kemp is hitting .154 w RISP (32 PA, 8 RBI)

White is hitting .156 w RISP (40 PA, 8 RBI)

They have been equally awful.

where are you getting this take?

sanchez had 53 games in 2016. had 20hr, 42 rbi.

2017: 122 games, 33hr, 90 rbi

2018: 89 games, 18hr, 53 rbi

only trend i see is this is consistent with past years. last year was his down year. he came onto the scene slugging the ball.

Kemp & White have both been terrible, but R & RBI are useless stats to compare one hitter to another.

Disappointed Alvarez didn't really run out that slow grounder. One of the great things about the Astros is they Never are caught not going all out. He had a shot to beat it.

As a rookie he should be hustling every ball in play. Seen plenty of the vets jogging on routine GOs though. That's one thing I like about Reddick he always seems to be hustling down the line and gets pissed on close plays when he thinks he should have beat it.

And Reddick almost always squeezes fly outs with 2 hands. My nephew gets sick of hearing me tell him, see, see, the best use both hands!
