He's only mildly outperforming his xwOBA. His barrel rate is very low. For a guy the Ks so much you'd expect some power.

At this point I think all of this stuff about White flinching is getting way overblown. I've seen every player on our roster flinch at balls that are strikes.

I get it, many on here don't like the guy. There is a lot of hate that flows his way, but he is not the reason this offense has stagnated the past two weeks.

I'm not convinced he's the best option for us. However, I'll let him play with the run he's been on over the last 10 days. Hopefully he can continue it as Bregman and Brantley start to heat back up. Need three guys in the line-up to produce.

I think Steve Phillips is grasping at straws here. There is no difference in those 2 images. Now if the difference comes in a video that could be a different story, but the still shots are the same.

His glove looks higher in the first image, and I doubt at full speed that is something that they would be able to tell. To me it just seems like he gets to aggressive and lays down a fat ball to be smacked.

He is absolutely not the reason the offense as a whole has struggled, but he is part of the reason. He is also taking up a spot in the batting order that I would rather see the hottest minor league hitter have instead.
