Yuli is what he is. A 35 yo player. But he's a good defensive 1B and while not killing it he's still mildly productive. He's nowhere near our favorite teletubbie.

the good thing about Yuli's contract is that it's front-loaded. That mitigates his declining performance and keeps him in the "pretty good value" range.

Chirinos was a great pickup but Realmuto is at another level. But that's irrelevant. It's all about what Tucker does when he gets called up that will determine whether it was a good move.
