I don't think it has been announced yet, but based on last years times it will likely be the early afternoon slot on FS1

Based on looking at my cable guide the FS1 early games are both at 3. IDK if that's real or not.

and game 1 of braves/dodgers and the last time is wrong. It started 538 local, 738 central, 838 eastern.

I believe I said the only way we wouldn't win 100 is if we wrapped up the division super early and just started resting guys. Before the season started, I thought we'd literally have the division won by the end of August. Freaking A's.

Yeah looking back it seems FS1 and TBS flip flop NL and AL series each year.

FWIW if you go to the FS1 website and click on their schedule they don't have 1pm blocked but they do have 3pm blocked for postseason baseball, so I think its a pretty safe bet we play at 3pm.

That's what I'm hoping. I can likely cut out of work early and catch most of the game if it's at that time. 1pm not so much.

So I have Fubo TV and they show FS1 4k events which the ALCS will be one.

Can't wait.

TBS has 4pm and 7:30pm blocked for MLB playoffs. So if each schedule is correct the full Friday schedule of time slots looks like this:

ALDS - FS1 - 3pm
NLDS - TBS - 4pm
ALDS - FS1 doesn't have a time slot reserved for this yet?
NLDS - TBS - 7:30pm

Seems like the networks would break up the early afternoon games more than an hour

TBS shows baseball at 4 pm, but not a 1 pm. I think its a safe bet nothing is set yet.

Have they set the playoff roster yet?

They'll probably want to have CC workout a few days to confirm he's ready. If not, then he might get left off.

Hinch probably won't officially set the ALDS roster until they know which Wild Card team they are playing. Also this is a big week for Correa to prove he is ready to play.

So I've looked at the #s and I think I'm ready to cast my Cy Young vote...

And the winner is... Gerrit Cole.

Ultimately, what swung my vote is limited balls being hit (more K%) and the type of contact once it was put in play (lower hard hit%, higher soft hit%). This led to JV allowing all those HRs and why Cole has the clear edge in FIP & xFIP. Its much closer, but Cole also has the edge in xwOBA too.

We can watch the WC & NL games. I think statcast is doing the ESPN2 broadcast. I would recommend it.
