Found one more error. Carlos Martinez, Jeff Samardzija , and Edwin Jackson have each gone over 100 MPH in the 8th inning or later once apiece. None of them went above 101 MPH. Baseball Savant's queries were being weird when I was doing the research, but now I have the full results.
He's a workhorse like Nolan. At the end of the 5 year deal, he'd be 42 or 43. I'd be great with offering Verlander the 5 years with years 4 and 5 being club options.Deluxe said:

I'd do 25/22/20/18/18 guaranteed, with incentives for certain benchmarks (Quality Starts, K/9 ratio, innings pitched, or starts made, etc.) in case he begins to break.I don't think 5/$103M guaranteed gets it done, but I'd love to be wrong.
