How the **** is this not reviewable? Going to have to revisit that in the off-season. Umps are getting worse and worse.DVC2010 said:
Remember that phantom foul tip the other day? Apparently a similar call almost cost the Nationals a win just now. Atlanta was down 3-1 in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded. Batter struck out swinging to end the game, but it was called a foul tip.
You just never know how failed starters are going to be out of the pen.Nuke LaLoosh said:

just remember you're questioning the approach of the AL batting leader for 2016 and 2014. A guy who is currently batting .333Aggie8587 said:
Seriously, why does Jose stand so far away from the plate?
He has to reach for everything outside and they'll never throw him anything to hit on the inner half.
Good point. Those guys that crowd the plate usually hit tons of pulled foul balls too. It seems like if you pitch Jose inside he can usually keep it fair.Ag_07 said:
I think he stands far off the plate because he knows he has the bat control to reach out and poke an outside pitch to RF while at the same time be able to barrel up an inside pitch and not get jammed. I hardly ever see him get jammed.
Not a lot of hitters have the bat control and hand/eye coordination to reach out like Altuve. He can hit pretty much any pitch.
